The thermostatic steam trap features a minimum stagnant area and corrosion-resistant thermostatic capsule with membrane regulator, which is unaffected by water hammer. Used for removing condensate and air venting steam in sterile and aseptic applications. The thermostatic capsule with membrane regulator and rolling ball features a self-centring ball stud that can move freely, ensuring a steam-tight seal that is unaffected by dirt particles.
For the operator of a pressurized steam or hot-water plant, safety, reliability, availability and cost efficiency are the top priority. To an increasing extent, plant automation and visualisation are also growing in importance. When LW/HW level electrodes are installed in external level pots, it is essential to monitor the periodic purging of the connecting pipes. A monitoring logic unit is required for each level pot. For purging, the connecting pipes are individually shut off and reopened in succession, and the level pot is drained. The SRL 6-60 monitoring logic unit monitors compliance with the set times and the sequence of valve operations.
Maintenance-free bellows-type stop valve with straight seat design and EN 1092 flanged end connections. The stop valve is equipped with stainless steel bellows and a safety stuffing box with a gland packing of pure graphite.
The level switch NRS 1-50 is used in conjunction with level electrode NRG 1...-.. to limit the water level in steam boilers and (pressurised) hot-water plants. Water level limiters switch off the heating when the water level falls below the set minimum level (low water).
NRG 1x-61 level electrodes are used in conjunction with the URS 60 / URS 61 safety control unit as safety high-level limiters for pressurised steam and hot-water plants. ■ Safety high-level limiters prevent the defined maximum high water (HW) level from being exceeded, e.g. by switching off the feedwater supply. ■ Visualisation and operation take place via the URB 60 operating unit or the SPECTORcontrol.
