Every day we work with our customers to improve their energy efficiency and help them meet their sustainability goals. GESTRA's 120-year legacy has always focused on using German precision engineering to maximise operational reliability, as sustainably as possible.
Being part of the Spirax-Sarco Engineering group means we are working together to achieve the goals set out in the One Planet: Engineering with Purpose Strategy.
Its six key initiatives define our commitment to making change happen.
GESTRA holds a Gold rating for sustainable procurement from EcoVadis, the world’s most trusted business sustainability rating organization.
EcoVadis ranks organisations according to strict criteria across environmental, social and ethical risks. A further 21 corporate social responsibility benchmarks are calculated over four themes: environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.
As part of the Spirax-Sarco Engineering Group, GESTRA was Principal Sponsor at this key event held alongside COP 27 at Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, in November 2022.
Amanda Williams, Head of Sustainability (Steam Specialties), joined one of the key investment panel discussions. Known as “the Investment COP”, the WCS saw business leaders from around the globe gathering to find productive new ways towards achieving real action on climate change.
