Engineer Business Development - Connected Services Sales Germany

Your tasks:

  • Actively conduct.
    * Market observation and identification of focus customers with the field sales/customer service for the development of Connected Serv.
    * Acquiring and supporting customers , with sales and service staff as appropriate, in actively developing customers into Connected Services.
    * Define standard applications for customers together with the OpCo Support Team Connected Services
    * Creation of use cases/white papers incl. campaigns
  • Value-added description of applications, creation of price sheets (order numbers, texts, prices, "delivery time")
  • Interdisciplinary cooperation with different teams at customers, in Bremen and the Steam Specialities organisation to ensure technical customer support
  • Improvement of internal processes, e.g. customer support

Your qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree or comparable in technical engineering (e.g. mechatronics, electrical engineering, engineering, digital technology, etc.)
  • Profound experience in business development/sales of IoT solutions
  • Understanding of:
    * PLC, SCADA, BMS, IoT Gateways. Internet / Cloud connectivity
    * Wireless sensor solutions via LoRa / NBIoT/...
    * Relevant standards and regulations
  • Excellent verbal / written communication and data presentation skills.
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
