IoT Engineer (gn*) - Connected Services

 

Tasks

  • Onboard and register customer devices in Gestra Cloud application
  • Design and develop tools to optimize deployment and customer support
  • Development of processes (e.g. onboarding of customers) and Gestra Cloud Application
  • Provide technical expertise and liaison with 3rd-parties and systems integrators to support instrumentation / control system / edge gateway / system design, specification and sourcing
  • Support and Training for users of Gestra Cloud Application

 

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a Technical Engineering / Computer Science discipline (e.g. Electrical Engineer, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Mechatronics, Digital Technology or familiar)
  • Experience with different aspects of IoT functionality, such as connectivity, security, provisioning, device management, data ingestion, real-time processing, analytics, edge and end devices
  • Experience with wireless sensor technology (e.g. LoRa, NB-IoT or familiar)
  • Knowledge about different Communication Protocols (Modbus, Profibus, CanOpen and familiars)
  • Programming knowledge in Databases (SQL), JavaScript
  • Understanding of system architectures
  • Excellent skills in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Strong verbal /written communication and data presentation skills (PowerPoint or similar)
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent written and spoken English
