Data Scientist (gn*) - Connected Services

Data Scientist (gn*) - Connected Services
Tasks
- Refine (clean) aggregate and interpret data in preparation for analysis
- Deliver automated (including AI enabled) reports including advisories and notifications as part of the Gestra Cloud application
- Build reusable solutions and implement best practice Data science framework / processes
- Develop predictive insights to determine steam system condition and optimize its performance
- Use advanced machine learning methods and discovery analytics to solve challenging problems in steam systems and identify solutions based on raw data
- Assess the effectiveness of data sources and data-gathering techniques and improve data collection methods
- Establish new systems and processes and look for opportunities to improve data flow
Qualification
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree or equivalent in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Data Science or other related fields
- Programming Languages: SQL and non-SQL, R, Java, Python, MATLAB, Spark, Kafka or equivalent tools
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (like Keras or PyTorch) and libraries (like scikit-learn)
- Experience of using Cloud technologies e.g. Azure or AWS
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience using various insights tools (e.g. PowerBI)
- Strong verbal /written communication and data presentation skills (PowerPoint or similar)
- Excellent communication skills, fluent written and spoken English
