For GESTRA the concept of ‘Quality’ not only refers to the product, but applies equally to planning, handling, and support services. It is our aim to recognize and eliminate the sources of potential errors during all phases of order processing by implementing comprehensive internal strategies. The ideal basis for this is a quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001. In addition, the requirements of other technical codes are met fully – e.g. the European Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC, AD2000-HP0 (pressure vessels), IAEA-50-C-Q and KTA 1401 (nuclear technology) and EN ISO 3834-2 (welding). The high quality standard of GESTRA products has been confirmed time and again by a large number of recognized type-approvals granted by the TÜV (German Technical Supervisory Association), Germanischer Lloyd, Lloyd’s Register of Shipping, and many other inspection authorities.
